The Story behind MedBuddy®
MedBuddy® was invented by Chase Corwin, who as a child had a fear of needles. Chase was a FedEx driver who delivered to hospitals and medical offices on his daily route. He consistently listened to and watched children cry in terror at the sight of a syringe while delivering to these locations.
He watched parents, nurses, and doctors wish there was something they could do.
Chase continued to develop the concept. He built prototypes and ran focus groups with children, parents and medical professionals. After a small team was founded, he obtained a patent. Together, they developed MedBuddy into a clinically validated solution providing child comfort in healthcare on a global scale.
We are not a large corporation. We are not a government agency. We are a small team with a genuine solution to a real problem — and we know that reaching the children who need it most requires partners who have already built the trust, the infrastructure, and the relationships we don’t yet have.
That is why we are here. Not to sell you something. To ask whether we can solve this together.
“I wish I could tell you I have some sort of medical background but honestly, I was just a FedEx driver who had a hospital on my route. Day after day, I saw a child’s fear of getting a shot and the overwhelming need for a cure like this device, so I invented it.”
